Capt. Joseph Reed was born in 1738 in Antrim, Ulster, Ireland.1,2 He and Sarah Wylie were married about 1766 est'd from birth of 1st child.3 Capt. Joseph Reed witnessed the death of Sarah Wylie on 18 May 1789.3 Capt. Joseph Reed died on 6 March 1809, at age ~71.3
Capt. Joseph Reed had reference number 322. He witnessed the immigration of Andrew Reed after 20 March 1743.4
